I have a desk top comp i need to upgrade the video card bu not sure what type of card i need ?

i have a hp pavillion slimline model s5120y just need to know what type of video card it would take ???|||you have an intergraded video card witch mean it in the mother board

you need to see what slots you have for video card

pci

agp

pci express 1

pci express x 16

http://www.playtool.com/pages/vidslots/s…

here a link of a mother board to show you the different types of slots

you need to open you case and see witch one you have

then get the card unplug the machine put the card in gently but firmly

put the case back on plug it

boot up and put the cd driver cd in and it should load the driver if not you have to go to

cd rom

run or open or setup and run the set disk

good luck|||i'm gonna trust that the others knew what they were talking about and if you need a low-profile card the 5650 is prob the best you can get pcie of course

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis…|||According to this :

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as…

- you have an available pci-e x16 slot. (see expansion)

Look for a PCI-e low profile graphics card.

http://www.diamondmm.com/howtobuyvideoca…|||ok so i pulled the specs on ur comp and you have PCI Express x16 One / (One available)

so basically that's one expansion slot available, now im not sure if you have room for a dual slot card
